Tim To paraphrase Rashad Becker, I hear Das Zeichen as ritual music of notional civilizations: hypnotic, otherworldly, organic yet modern... The group achieve here a consistent and enveloping atmosphere that is rare among "tribal" or folk-like post-industrial musics. It's one of my favourite albums and I am delighted to see it made available to a wider audience. Recommended if you like Dead Can Dance, Mitar Subotić (Suba, Rex Ilusivii), etc. Favorite track: Hundert Jahre Einsamkeit.
